Looking forward to showing a new light based and optically informed work in Reilly Sinanan's new project Organic Produce in early June. Operating out of the canopy of his truck, Sinanan continues to push the boundaries of content and context by creating an exhibition experience as mobile as the work it's influenced by. Programming debuts May 21 featuring Robert Yoder's "Somebody's Love Train" with future dates to be announced via Twitter and Facebook. I'm envisioning it viewed from below, it's on top of a hill in the desert, the payload down glowing from within. Just now twilight, a silver eyelash moon popping over the breaking horizon, a star appears, and nothing is ever the same again.
Reilly Sinanan is a Seattle based artist who recently graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a focus on sculpture. His solo show Spaghetti Toss opens at Glassbox Gallery on May 7 and continues until April 30, 2015.
