CARS IN A CIRCLE AT PULSE MIAMI BEACH CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR
Very psyched to exhibit sculpture and neon from the past five years alongside drawings by Juliet Jacobson with SEASON in CARS IN A CIRCLE at PULSE Miami Beach Contemporary Art Fair December 1-5. Selected from work ranging between 2011-2015, each piece represents an aspect of a studio practice and continuous investigation of what it means to be human in a data-driven world. Specifically, this collection of blown glass, fabricated steel and multilayered neon connects the dots between a broken home and Blade Runner. It's how a gangly, precocious teen spirit spent an alcohol and drug-fueled adolescence trying to escape the backwoods of Anywhere, U.S.A. into an invented future — possibly another planet.
CARS IN A CIRCLE opens Tuesday, December 1 at PULSE Miami Beach Contemporary Art Fair and runs until the closing of the fair on Saturday, December 5. The full exhibition is up on Artsy.
